Gady PHAKA and Gloire MANDEFU, students at Ecole Nationale d’Administration “Administration National School” (ENA) in acronym, are going back happy and satisfied from their professional traineeship spent within Target. Arrived at Target for a professional traineeship of 3 months, these two students of ENA “learnt a lot about market research environment”.

As for Gady PHAKA, assigned at the Projects’ Department, the traineeship within Target Agency is “a very critical period for his career”.

During his traineeship, Grady especially took care of the design of questionnaires for qualitative studies reports drafting, design of discussions’ guides, counting and analysis of results. All this, by having a close look on the checking of data consistency before analysis and comments.

Pleasantly surprised by the serious job Target is achieving in studies performance, Grady much appreciated “the working spirit and culture found at Target”. Values that “he would like to see within public service clerks”. As he stated.

Hortense MBUMBA, Project Manager within Target and Gady’s traineeship supervisor,  praise this young economics graduate on his quick adaptation.

“Everything was kind of innovation for him. Yet one thing which is absolutely amazing, he adapted quite well; especially as regards subjects such as data analysis and processing, research of additional information to support the results”, stated Hortense MBUMBA. Before concluding with a piece of advice for trainees: they should make sure to have relevant information when coming to carry out a professional traineeship.

Gady’s case has been special, that is why I even feel sad about his departure”, as she affirmed.

As for her, Gloire MANDEFU carried out his professional traineeship as Administrative and Financial Assistant. Within that Position, Gloire has gotten a great experience that motivates her to affirm that “before any activity started, there should be preliminary studies”.

Coached by Sarah NGONGO, Target Management Assistant, Gloire MANDEFU coming from slow beginnings yet encouraging. “After a slow start, Gloire very quickly adapted and provided a satisfying dynamism”, as stated by Sarah NGONGO. “She could go down to the field alone and carry out all expenses related to payment of teams, invoices, with monitoring of purchase orders”, as she explained.

To remind, Target Agency has especially set the objective of training Congolese young people in market research field and opinion pull, by professional traineeships, with a good quality coaching.
