Target, a reference in market research for Congolese youth

Target reserves a place of choice for training Congolese youth in market research. This desire is reflected in particular by the number of trainees the firm welcomes each year for orientation in one or another sector of this field.
In 2019, the firm did not depart from the rule. It welcomes students at the end of their training. In this first part of the year, the agency welcomed two groups.
The second group, whose internship is underway, comprises nine trainees.
In the Project Department, five interns are hosted. Natacha Lofoli Botoleande, Rosine Pelenge Mikobi, Kevin Kayembe Lukoji, Christian Amsini kasemwana and Guillaume Matadi Tshimpanga. All five are doing an analyst course. They are trained in quality control, which consists of rigorously verifying the quality of the work done by the interviewers and supervisors after fieldwork; analysis of data collected by focus groups; analysis of internal results of media studies; and analysis of specific data such as verbatim after studies on the quality of services of telecommunications operators.

Another ISIPA student, Yvesse Makaba Nzimbu, is responsible for encoding, processing, cleaning, and harmonizing the study bases. Alphonse Kamukenji Kalonji from ENA is responsible for the same tasks, verifying data consistency and creating graphics.

They are also trained in coding open-ended responses. The first exercise they were subjected to was a survey on the use of a cable TV distributor and a question on the possibility of doing business in the DRC.
Beyond this orientation, Guillaume is also assigned to proofread some reports and publications and to map the media in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

With a rapidly growing demand, the firm is prepared to welcome many more in the coming days.
