Lubumbashi, the administrative center of Haut-Katanga, is set to host the region's largest mining and infrastructure exhibition and conference, DRC MINING WEEK, from June 14 to 16, 2023.

This annual international event brings together mining businesses operating in the DRC and around the world. The 2023 edition of DRC MINING theme is "Recognizing DRC Mining's triumphs and victories, on and off the field", aiming to present and explore the projects and investment opportunities offered by the mining sector in the DRC.

Moreover, DRC Mining Week is also a valuable opportunity for companies from many other sectors, whether through partnerships or sponsorship. The General Manager of Target Sarl will represent the company at the three-day mining conference.

Several issues will be addressed, including the forum on investments in the energy sector; financial inclusion for small, medium, and large companies; and how to make mining safer for women, a key factor for integration and social inclusion.

The conference will conclude with a relevant question about the mining sector perception in the DRC and in Africa by the younger generations, with the aim of establishing a clear vision from 2025 to 2050 for the next generations.
