The Grand Katanga region considered the most geologically and mineral-rich area in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is home to the country's largest mining forum, DRC Mining Week.
DRC Mining Week has been held in the heart of the Copper Belt since 2004. This world-class event is an essential negotiating platform for mining sector players from various backgrounds. It offers enriching conferences and critical networking opportunities, bringing international and local exhibitors together.
From June 12th to 14th, 2024, Lubumbashi, the capital of the Haut-Katanga province, will host representatives from over 57 countries and approximately 1,300 mining professionals from Africa and around the world for this significant mining forum.
Serge Mumbu, Managing Director of Target Sarl, will participate as a panellist at the forum on mining trends and priorities for the DRC's socio-economic development plan.
