Centers for New Business Identification in Kinshasa under COPA
The identification phase, which began on Monday, November 18, in Silikin Village, will continue until December 14. In addition to Silikin, three other centres are available across Kinshasa: UPN, Limete, and Ndjili. This initiative aims to support new businesses operating for 3 to 36 months by helping them gather essential information about the project process.
During the identification phase, businesses are required to complete a form with all relevant details. This information will enable companies to position themselves effectively for the next stage: registration and access to opportunities.
The four available centres in Kinshasa are:
- Silikin Village: COTEX Concession, No. 63, Avenue Colonel Mondjiba, C/Ngaliema
- UPN: EMMHEST, opposite EDAP school
- Limete: Congrégation Pauline Library, 10th Street, Limete Industrial
- Ndjili: College Bonsomie, Avenue Kinanga No. 393, Q/4, Commune of Ndjili, near Sainte Thérèse
Whether formal or informal, businesses must operate in areas targeted by the project, including light industry, processing and packaging, high-value-added services, social entrepreneurship, and the green economy.
After the identification phase, businesses whose profiles meet the project criteria will be contacted for the second stage: registration. Successful candidates will then be eligible for COPA training, which will guide them through the process of submitting a business plan to receive technical and financial support.
