
CSB trains Target employees on managerial skills.
For two days, target employees have just been trained on managerial skills by Coaching Service Business (CSB). This training aims to sharpen everyone's skills. Serge Mumbu, general manager of Target, believes that the company is growing and its employees will be called upon to manage complex situations. Friday, August 14, is the last day of the training. It is 8:30 am. The chairs are carefully placed in the large meeting and training room to accommodate those concerned. The first people take their seats at 9 am. With computers, notebooks, and cups of coffee in hand, everyone was present, and the training started at 9:30. It focused on skills development and action plans. The skills are interpersonal, technical, and political.
Besides the introductory part, the training is based on the understanding of management and the skills of a manager. Mrs. Malou takes the floor first and summarizes the notions learned last time. She invites each person to speak voluntarily. A timid start, but after the first speaker, the discussion quickly takes over, and the exchanges become interactive.
During the training
The training also touched on the professional skills of the manager. These are mainly based on the animation of his team. This animation is done in seven axes. By initiating this training, the general manager of Target, Serge Mumbu, wants to make each team member responsible. Target is growing and has ambitions proportional to its growth. Each of them is called to lead teams and manage more complex situations. He believes everyone must be well-equipped to organize work, coach, motivate, and manage teams.
